Today’s Groupon prepares you for the real world: for RM780, you get a static line skydiving inclusive of ground training, equipment, safety facilities, permit fee and certificate from KL Hunter (RM1180 total value).

Ailing hand flappers frolic in scientifically viable methods of flight with the guidance of expert jumpers harnessing more than 2,000 plane jumps, including stints with Tourism Malaysia. Ground training teaches tentative jumpers how to fly a parachute correctly, clear minor and major malfunctions, safety rules, how to land safely and guidelines for sky diving in this five hour class. Once convinced to take a leap of faith, empyreans travel over to Bernam River Airfield, Perak the next day to be taken up by plane to admire the view from above at 3,500 feet. Attaching a cord from the parachute to the aircraft, parachutes open three seconds after the jumper has left the plane, allowing for short freefall followed by a pleasant atmospheric observations down back to solid ground. Once feet make contact with earthen memories, jumpers are presented with a certificate commemorating adventurism or spatial moments of delirium.

Customers are advised to wear long sleeve t-shirts, tracksuit or jeans and sport shoes. Jumpsuits will be provided by the instructor. Customers can also opt to top RM580 for a tandem jump with the instructor at 10,000 feet. Although insurance is not included in this Groupon, it can be purchased for an additional RM30 with a coverage of RM50,000.

Participants aged 18 and below require parental consent. All participants must be fit to fly and those with health problems require a written medical approval from a doctor. People with pacemakers should avoid this activity.

3. Booking must be done two weeks in advance.
